Seating
Owen’s stool was a commissioned piece, to be used by a toddler for ‘helping’ with the washing up! Made with oak and finished with Danish oil.
The pine, four legged stool is designed for a jeweller who needs a low seat to do eye level sawing at the work bench. The seat was finished with a traditional Japanese scorching method to preserve the wood known as ‘shou sugi ban’.
Window seats are a firm favourite and can be built into any window space. This example used lost space to provide a perfect spot to read a book or simply stare into the distance.
